Supply of fresh fruit and vegetables to children’s and social-care facilities

The contract is for the periodic supply of fresh fruit and vegetables over 12 months to children’s and social-care facilities and other local services in the town of Byala. Deliveries are made to the facilities’ storage areas following advance orders. Estimated quantities for the 12 months include bananas 3,740 kg, grapes 176 kg, watermelons 535 kg, tomatoes 1,585 kg, cabbage 2,235 kg, spring onions 265 bunches, lettuce 550 pieces, apricots 100 kg, potatoes 4,870 kg, kiwifruit 140 kg, dill 1,250 bunches, cucumbers 2,096 kg, pears 900 kg, lemons 206 kg, onions 2,705 kg, parsley 4,070 bunches, mandarins 1,260 kg, carrots 695 kg, nectarines 200 kg, peppers 580 kg, oranges 155 kg, leeks 180 bunches, peaches 115 kg, melons 190 kg, radishes 240 bunches, white turnips 245 kg, pumpkins 365 kg, courgettes 521 kg, fresh celery 1,856 bunches, garlic 157 kg and fresh garlic 47 bunches, beetroot 435 kg, avocados 30 kg, apples 1,494 kg, aubergines 86 kg and fresh button mushrooms 57 kg. The order also includes 493 kg of organic apples, 599 kg of organic cucumbers, 78 kg of organic pumpkin, 241 kg of organic potatoes and 40 kg of organic carrots. Some products must meet mandatory environmental requirements. The estimated total value is EUR 41,323.17, and price is the only award criterion. The selected contractor must provide a performance guarantee equal to 2% of the contract value excluding VAT; it may take the form of a cash deposit, bank guarantee or insurance. Bids must be submitted electronically by 6 November 2026.
