Summary

The contract covers transport services for samples, blood components and small items for the clinical laboratories and blood banks of Saint-Luc University Hospitals, divided into four lots: scheduled transport between partner hospitals and Saint-Luc; urgent transport, normally requiring collection from Saint-Luc within one hour and direct delivery to a Belgian laboratory; international transport, with collection within 12 hours and delivery within a maximum of 72 hours; and transport between the Saint-Jean site, collection centres and Saint-Luc, including machine supplies of up to 2 m³. The general maximum weight for sample and small-item consignments is 30 kg. The planned term for Lots 1 and 2 is 48 months. Bids must be submitted electronically by 3 November 2026 at 17:00. Bidders must demonstrate the required turnover, relevant past delivery experience and a valid ISO certificate, and provide a technical description covering temperature monitoring, rapid response, transport scheduling and service quality. The award criteria are total price per kilometre (60%), traceability (15%), responsiveness (10%) and service-level quality (15%). Electronic invoicing is required, and variants are not permitted.
