Self-insurance administration and claims-handling services

Summary

The procurement seeks services to administer the Danish Defence’s self-insurance arrangements and handle claims, in two lots. Lot 1 covers the handling and reimbursement of claims worldwide relating to illness, repatriation and collective 24-hour accident cover, and includes a continuously staffed emergency assistance centre for urgent cases. Lot 2 covers damage to household goods during transport or storage for deployed staff, as well as catastrophe cover. The provider will handle enquiries from insured persons and reimburse expenses on behalf of the Danish Defence in accordance with its insurance terms. The estimated total value is DKK 15,060,000: DKK 3,360,000 for Lot 1 and DKK 11,700,000 for Lot 2. Each contract runs for 48 months and may be extended twice by one year. Tenderers may bid for up to two lots, with only one tender permitted for each lot. Quality carries 60% of the evaluation and price 40%. Tenders must be submitted electronically by 09:00 on 4 November 2026. Tenderers must submit an ESPD, state the professional qualifications of the relevant staff, and provide the required declarations concerning labour conditions, corporate social responsibility, international sanctions and notification about the processing of personal data.
