Tender detail
Glass insulator strings for power lines and substations
Summary
The procurement is for the supply of complete glass insulator strings for Energinet’s power transmission lines (Lot 1) and substations (Lot 2) under a framework agreement. A tenderer may bid for either or both lots and may be awarded up to two lots. The framework agreement will run for four years, with two possible extensions of two years each. Lot 1 has an estimated consumption of EUR 10,000,000 and a maximum value of EUR 24,000,000; Lot 2 has an estimated consumption of EUR 2,684,563.75 and a maximum value of EUR 6,442,953. Consumption figures are estimates and do not oblige the contracting entity to purchase those amounts. This is a negotiated procedure. Requests to participate must be submitted electronically by 2 November 2026 at 12:00, and the European Single Procurement Document must be completed. The tender, including any revised tender submitted during negotiations, must remain valid for six months from the relevant submission deadline. The award criteria are price (30%), solution description (50%) and delivery time (20%). Prices must be quoted in euros, excluding VAT but including all other purchase-related costs. The delivery time must be stated in calendar weeks for a typical order of 300 suspension strings and 30 tension strings. Applicants must meet the financial and experience requirements for the relevant lot and submit three to five relevant references from the past five years; at least one must demonstrate the supply of glass insulators for a transmission network operating at 132 kV or higher. The technical tender must describe the proposed solution and include relevant drawings, test results and other technical evidence.
