Planning for Local and Regional Tourism Development

Summary

The municipality of Villány is procuring design and related services for local and regional tourism development in three lots. Lot 1 covers development of the event area, including the design of roads and walkways, parking areas, a service road and a reception building. Lot 2 concerns active-tourism infrastructure around Templom-hegy, including a walking trail, an approximately 0.75 km cycle route, roads, parking and a lookout point. Lot 3 covers improvements to public spaces, pavements and parking associated with a Villány tourism route. For each lot, the contractor must prepare permit-stage and construction-stage designs, support the procurement of construction works, provide designer’s supervision and perform cost-expert duties. Permit-stage designs are due within 150 days of the contract taking effect; construction designs for each discipline are due within 60 days after the relevant permit becomes final. During supervision, the contractor must be available to the contracting authority twice per month. Bids must be submitted electronically by 10:00 on 6 November 2026. Evaluation considers price, additional warranty duration and the additional experience of the proposed specialists. Bidders must meet professional registration, reference and team qualification requirements; the successful bidder must also obtain the required design professional liability insurance.
