Design of the cycling route along the Rákos Stream II

Summary

The procurement concerns the design of approximately 9.6 km of cycling infrastructure along the Rákos Stream in Budapest’s districts XIII, XIV, X and XVII. The work includes reviewing and updating plans prepared in 2021, producing combined permitting and construction design documents and the technical volumes for a construction tender, and obtaining the necessary permits and approvals. The optional task is design supervision during construction; it may be called off within three years after acceptance of the base task and includes up to 40 engineer-days of separately assigned supervision work. The planned contract period is 260 days. Bids must be submitted electronically by 14:00 on 16 October 2026. Evaluation considers the base-task price (42%), the optional-task price (8%), up to 36 months of additional experience for each of the two required professionals (17% + 17%), and the availability of one additional professional with the specified qualification (16%). Bidders must provide a HUF 500,000 tender guarantee and meet the professional registration, reference and team qualification requirements. Separate pricing must be provided for the base and optional tasks.
