Processing of hard plastics

Summary

This tender seeks a service to process hard plastics (Eural code 20.01.39) for 2027 in MIROM Roeselare’s service area. The waste comes from households and similar business waste streams, selectively delivered by residents to local recycling parks. The service also covers bulky household waste collected from homes. MIROM Roeselare or its designated carriers will transport the waste to the processor. The tender is divided into 76 lots. The notice says the lots are identical in terms of processing, but does not state the tonnage for each lot. Offers must be submitted electronically by 3 November 2026 at 09:00. Offers must remain valid for 120 days. In evaluation, the price per tonne accounts for 85% of the points and is adjusted for the buyer’s transport costs, taking account of driving time or distance between each recycling park and the processor’s unloading site, together with the expected tonnage from each park. The proposed unloading site is binding for the contract period. Service flexibility accounts for 10% and the procedure for handling rejected loads accounts for 5%. A load may be rejected when contamination makes up at least 10% of its weight. Tenderers must provide the requested information on previous work and technical resources, and include a description of their procedure for rejected loads. A security is also required, equal to 10% of the original value of the lot excluding VAT and rounded up to the next multiple of ten.
