Insurance services for Vejle Municipality

Summary

Vejle Municipality is procuring insurance services in 12 lots: buildings and contents insurance (including all-risks cover); commercial and product liability; liability insurance for children placed in foster care; motor vehicle insurance; workers’ compensation and catastrophe cover; group accident insurance for the municipal council and volunteer firefighters; travel insurance; all-risks insurance for art; municipal governing-body liability; passenger liability; and professional liability insurance. Bidders may submit offers for up to 12 lots. Insurance contracts generally start on 1 January 2027 and run for three years, with the option to extend for up to two additional one-year periods; the governing-body liability lot is planned for one year, with up to four one-year extensions. Depending on the lot, price and additional insurance cover are weighted 65% and 35%, or 80% and 20%; check the tender documents for the exact allocation. Bids must be submitted electronically by 15:00 on 2 November 2026. Bidders must be registered in the commercial register in their country of establishment and provide the required declarations concerning exclusion grounds and restrictions relating to Russia.
