Design services for a new day activity centre

Summary

The City of Veszprém is procuring design services for a new day activity centre for adults with disabilities at 10 Kőhíd Street. The planned building has a gross floor area of 640.88 m² and will provide facilities for 70 people; its kitchen will serve 80. The services cover all required design work, including permit and construction designs with specialist disciplines, planning of necessary demolition and landscaping, support with permits, cost consultancy, and the designer’s site supervision during construction. The designer must also prepare technical documentation and a detailed budget suitable for a construction procurement. The permit design is due within 60 calendar days of the design contract taking effect; the construction design is due within 60 calendar days after the building permit becomes final. Design supervision continues until construction is completed, currently expected by 31 August 2028. The bidder must provide at least one reference for designing a building of at least 480 m², completed during the three years before publication of the contract notice and started no more than six years before publication. The team must include a suitably qualified architect, building services designer, structural designer, and rehabilitation environment design specialist or equivalently qualified professional. There is no minimum financial-turnover requirement. The bid must include a professional proposal and a fully priced budget in Excel and signed PDF formats, together with a letter of intent for the required professional indemnity insurance. No tender guarantee is required. The submission deadline is 5 November 2026 at 14:00. The net price accounts for 50% of the evaluation, and the additional relevant experience of three designers accounts for the other 50%; up to 36 months of additional experience is considered for each.
