Supply and repair of playground equipment

Summary

The procurement covers the renewal of playgrounds at kindergartens maintained by the Óbuda-Békásmegyer district in Budapest, divided into two lots. The work includes removing and, where appropriate, repairing old or unsafe playground equipment; supplying and installing new equipment; and installing or repairing impact-absorbing and other surfacing. Lot I includes installing 42 new pieces of equipment, constructing 659 m² of impact-absorbing rubber surfacing, associated edging works, supplying 43 m³ of sand, and relocating and reinstalling 10 existing pieces of equipment. Lot II includes installing 44 pieces of equipment, 681 m² of new and 240 m² of repaired rubber surfacing, 216 linear metres of rubber edging, 120 linear metres of concrete edging, 72 m² of paving, and 89 m³ of sand. Bidders may submit offers for both lots. Products must be new and meet playground safety requirements and standards MSZ EN 1176 and MSZ EN 1177. After installation, an independent accredited body must conduct a safety inspection, and the resulting documents must be submitted. A warranty of at least 36 months is required. Offers are evaluated on net price and additional warranty duration; up to 12 months may be added to the mandatory 36 months. Participation requires a bid guarantee of HUF 800,000 per lot and evidence of compliant delivery of at least 30 playground items. The submission deadline is 6 November 2026 at 11:00.
