Routine Repairs to Streets and Municipal Roads in the Settlements of Maritsa Municipality

Summary

The procurement covers routine repairs to streets in the 19 settlements of Maritsa Municipality and to municipal roads over a period of up to 36 months. The work includes repairing asphalt and stone-paved surfaces, patching potholes, milling and resurfacing, replacing stormwater and inspection manhole covers, grading gravel- and earth-surfaced streets, and placing crushed-stone base material, as well as excavation and removal of soil. Repairs will also be carried out on specified municipal roads and the road in the Radinovo industrial zone; locations may be changed as needs arise. Forecast quantities include approximately 10,000 m² of asphalt repairs, 1,000 m² of stone-paving repairs, replacement of 40 stormwater-drain covers and 20 inspection-manhole covers, about 66,000 m² of grading, excavation and removal of 12,000 m³ of soil, and delivery and placement of 9,000 m³ of unsorted crushed stone. Work will be ordered as needed through separate written instructions and paid at the unit prices submitted in the bid. The estimated contract value is EUR 6,000,000. Price is the only award criterion; bids will be assessed using unit prices for 53 work items. Bidders must meet requirements for builder registration, turnover of at least EUR 3 million, insurance, 2025 liquidity ratios, previous roadwork experience, qualified personnel and an ISO 9001:2015 or equivalent quality management system. The contract performance guarantee is 1% of the estimated contract value excluding VAT and must be provided within seven days after the contracting authority confirms that the first funding for the contract has been secured.
