Installation of an onboard ETCS system on a class 742 locomotive

Summary

The procurement covers the complete supply and installation of a mobile ETCS Level 2 train protection system on one class 742 locomotive operated by the contracting entity. The system must meet at least Baseline 3. The estimated contract value is CZK 25,000,000. Bids must be submitted electronically by 10:00 on 22 October 2026; variants are not permitted and no tender guarantee is required. Price is the sole award criterion, assessed on the basis of the price excluding VAT. The successful bidder must arrange and pay for technically suitable premises for the work; the locomotive will be handed over and returned in the area of Teplice nad Metují railway station. The planned performance period is 30 November 2026 to 30 June 2028. Precise exclusion grounds and qualification criteria must be checked in the tender documents. During performance, the supplier must comply with labour, employment and occupational safety requirements, meet its contractual and payment obligations to subcontractors, minimize waste and prioritize reuse and recycling. Electronic invoicing is required.
