Insurance services for Eötvös Loránd University

Summary

Eötvös Loránd University is procuring insurance services in four lots: property and liability insurance, compulsory motor third-party liability insurance for a vehicle fleet, fleet casco insurance, and framework travel insurance. The contracts are due to run from 1 January 2027 to 31 December 2028 and may be extended once by 12 months on unchanged terms. The property and liability lot includes, among other cover, property valued at HUF 474,650,334,686 and specified liability, machinery breakdown and cargo insurance. Compulsory motor liability insurance covers 31 vehicles, casco insurance covers 16 vehicles, and the expected travel insurance volume is 8,000 traveller-days per year. The volume in each lot may vary by up to 30% during the contract. Bidders must hold a valid authorisation to provide insurance services and have active status in the Hungarian National Bank’s register. For each lot bid for, bidders must also provide evidence of the specified experience: for the property lot, a property insurance contract of at least one year covering property worth at least HUF 200 billion; for the fleet motor liability and casco lots, a contract of at least one year covering at least 10 vehicles; and for the travel insurance lot, a contract of at least one year covering at least 3,000 insured traveller-days. Tenders must be submitted electronically by 4 November 2026 at 09:00 and include the required declarations and signed detailed price tables in both PDF and editable Excel formats. Tenders will be evaluated on the basis of the best price-quality ratio, with quality factors differing between lots.
