Design and construction works to reconstruct the Nevestino water supply pipeline

Summary

The contract covers the design, reconstruction and construction-stage author supervision of the water supply main serving the village of Nevestino in Karnobat Municipality. The existing 2 km steel pipeline, with a diameter of 89 mm, is to be replaced by a new 110 mm high-density polyethylene pipeline. The contractor will prepare the technical design, carry out the construction works based on the approved design, and provide author supervision during construction. The total contract period may not exceed 180 calendar days: up to 30 days for design and up to 150 days for construction. Author supervision will continue during construction. The estimated contract value is EUR 408,777.86, and price is the sole award criterion. Funding had not been secured when the contract notice was published, so the contract will be conditional on funding being obtained. The performance guarantee is 2% of the contract value excluding VAT. Participation requires the appropriate builder registration, relevant past experience, a qualified design and author-supervision team, and a technical manager.
