POC PCR analyzer

Summary

VITAZ’s clinical laboratory is procuring a new automated, integrated point-of-care PCR analyzer for sample preparation, nucleic acid extraction, amplification and simultaneous real-time PCR detection of target sequences. The equipment must be delivered, installed, commissioned and validated, and operators must be trained. The system must support multiplex testing of nasopharyngeal swabs or aspirates for at least influenza A/B, RSV, SARS-CoV-2, Mycoplasma pneumoniae, parainfluenza virus, human metapneumovirus and adenovirus. The procurement also includes a framework agreement for equipment-specific consumables and reagents, plus a comprehensive service and maintenance contract after the warranty period. The framework agreement will run for four years and may be extended tacitly twice by two years each; the equipment’s estimated service life is 8–10 years. The notice gives a framework maximum value of €1,449,800. Price and quality each account for 50% of the award assessment. Applications must be submitted by 15 October 2026 at 08:00. Bidders must demonstrate annual turnover of at least €350,000 in the PCR analyzer business in each of the last three available financial years and provide the required hospital laboratory references. Dutch-language support and training are required, as is technical service capable of arriving on site within eight hours. A bid guarantee of €18,620 is required.
