Foreign print and electronic journals

Summary

The University of Szeged is procuring foreign printed and electronic journals and journal packages for 36 months, covering 2027–2029. The contract has a net ceiling of USD 600,000. The planned quantity is 111 titles: 32 print journals, 15 print-and-online journals, 61 online journals and 3 numbered series. The ordering quantities may change during the contract, and the buyer commits to at least 80% of the framework contract value. The supplier must provide online access, make free claims for missing issues and supply free replacements, and provide Hungarian-language customer support for 20 hours per week between 8:00 and 16:00 on working days. Print orders must be acknowledged within one working day and delivered within a maximum of 6 weeks after publication for European journals and 8 weeks for journals published outside Europe. Online access must be provided within two weeks. Bidders must demonstrate the required previous delivery experience and submit a priced bid. Evaluation takes account of the first-year journal price and increases in the service charge in the second and third years. Bids must be submitted in Hungarian or accompanied by a Hungarian translation and remain valid for 30 calendar days.
