Supply of 12.7 × 99 mm ammunition

Summary

The tender is for 9,000 new, non-remanufactured 12.7 × 99 mm cartridges. They must comply with STANAG 4383/AOP-4383 or an equivalent standard, function reliably in the M2HB QCB heavy machine gun, and withstand temperatures from –30 °C to +50 °C. The supply includes cartridges with steel-core bullets and tracer bullets; the tracer ammunition must have an effective range of 150–1,500 m in both daylight and darkness. The offer must identify the manufacturer and model and provide technical specifications and the manufacturer’s product information sheet. At delivery, the cartridges must be no more than 12 months old and have a service life of at least 5 years. The full quantity is procured in one lot. Price is the sole award criterion, and the contract uses a fixed price. This is a negotiated procedure with a call for competition: qualified candidates will be invited to submit offers, and negotiations will concern price only. The tenderer must hold the authorisation needed for ammunition-related activities. Participants must demonstrate that no exclusion grounds or participation restrictions apply and submit the required declarations. The manufacturer must hold ISO 9001:2015 quality-management and ISO 14001:2015 environmental-management certifications covering ammunition production, or provide equivalent evidence.
