Construction of a green mobility arterial corridor in the southwest part of Alba Iulia

Summary

The tender concerns the construction of a green mobility arterial corridor in the southwest part of Alba Iulia as part of sustainable urban mobility measures. The contractor will execute a 2.3 km Class II road with a design speed of 50–60 km/h, four lanes (two per direction), dedicated bus lanes, six bus stops, pedestrian and bicycle paths, intersection upgrades, road markings and safety systems, drainage, street lighting with telemanagement, and CCTV. The project also includes design and execution of works arising from the coexistence study and integration with existing electrical and drainage networks. The estimated budget is about 90,641,642.5 RON excluding VAT. Construction duration is 24 months with a minimum 36-month warranty. Financing comes from REGIUNEA CENTRU 2021–2027 and the local budget. Location: Alba Iulia city; lot 1 covers a 2.3 km arterial road with related works including overpasses, landscaping and utilities integration.
