Framework agreement for non-emergency patient transport

Summary

The AZ Klina campuses in Brasschaat and surrounding area will award a framework agreement for non-emergency patient transport services. The contract is divided into four lots: Lot 1 seated patient transport, Lot 2 wheelchair transport, Lot 3 non-emergency lying patient transport, and Lot 4 (para)medical escorted transport. Each lot is a separate framework agreement; the initial term is 48 months with up to two 12-month extensions, for a maximum of six years. The maximum framework amount is EUR 2,436,000 per lot. Bidder qualifications include at least three hospital references for similar assignments in the last five years, at least one reference attestation of good performance, evidence of professional liability insurance, valid licenses for non-emergency patient transport (including licenses for seated and wheelchair transport and per-vehicle licenses for lying transport and medically assisted lying transport), a bank statement or other financial evidence, demonstration of financial capacity, not being in exclusion, a 3% tender guarantee, and compliance with various criteria (including up to 30% subcontracting and UEA exclusions).
