Collection and transport of sand and screenings in Douro Interior and Minho Litoral

Summary

Águas do Norte, S.A. is procuring the collection, containment and transport of pre-treatment waste—sand and screenings—from wastewater treatment plants and pumping stations in Douro Interior and Minho Litoral. The waste is to be taken to two buyer facilities, the Sabroso de Aguiar and Viana do Castelo Cidade wastewater treatment plants; transport will use both 6 m³ containers and collection rounds with 800-litre containers. The procurement is not divided into lots. The initial contract term is one year, with up to two renewals and a maximum total term of three years; the maximum estimated value is EUR 690,000 excluding VAT.
