Summary

The tender concerns a single, interoperable data-storage and associated processing solution for the digital archive of the National Library of Portugal. The contract includes supply, installation, configuration, integration, controlled data migration, testing, documentation, training and final acceptance. The estimated maximum price is EUR 2,500,000 excluding VAT, with no lots. The solution must provide at least 3 PB of net usable object storage, 1 PB of additional network storage, three processing nodes with specified capacity, cold tape preservation, backup and recovery functions, redundant networking and a UPS.
