Expansion of the operating theatre block at Barcelos Hospital

The Local Health Unit of Barcelos/Esposende is procuring the expansion of the operating theatre block at Santa Maria Maior Hospital in Barcelos. The single, unallotted public works contract covers structural and building works, finishes, electrical and emergency systems, ventilation and air treatment, medical gas and water networks, fire safety and security systems. It also includes two anaesthesia pendants, two surgery pendants, two ceiling-mounted surgical lights and two three-door technical panels. The estimated value is EUR 2,830,188.68 excluding VAT, and the works are scheduled to take 10 months.
