Disaster recovery data centre setup

Summary

The procurement covers a complete disaster recovery (DR) data centre solution for the Municipality of Marinha Grande. The supplier must provide and install a micro data centre with two 42U racks, power and cooling systems, a 20 kVA backup generator, fire detection and suppression, access control, video surveillance and central monitoring. The work also includes moving, installing and configuring the municipality’s existing Dell equipment at the new DR location, and commissioning virtual-machine replication between the active primary site and passive recovery site, along with recovery procedures, testing and documentation. The supplier must carry out testing and user training and hand over a fully operational solution. Equipment and software must have a minimum three-year warranty, with three years of after-sales technical support. The delivery period is 60 days. The maximum base price is EUR 129,206.80 excluding VAT, and price is the sole award criterion. Bids must be submitted through the ACIN electronic platform by 23:59 on 7 October 2026 and remain valid for 66 days. Variant bids and bids for only part of the supply are not allowed. Bidders must, among other things, provide valid technical-capability confirmation from Dell Technologies or an authorised manufacturer entity and references for similar work.
