Rental of Cranes and Lifting Equipment and Load Handling Services

Summary

The tender covers the rental of cranes, crane trucks, telehandlers and lifting platforms, together with lifting, handling and transport services for maintenance work at Águas do Centro Litoral S.A.'s Polo Ria water and wastewater infrastructure. It is divided into two lots: Lot 1 covers 40-, 60-, 90- and 110-tonne telescopic cranes and crane trucks; Lot 2 covers telehandlers with a working height of up to 18 metres and articulated or telescopic-boom lifting platforms with working heights of 16–28 metres, including 6- and 8-metre electric scissor lifts. Bidders may tender for either or both lots, but must submit a separate bid for each lot. Services will mainly be provided at Polo Ria facilities in the Aveiro and Coimbra regions; crane-truck transport may extend throughout Portugal. Work is generally scheduled on weekdays from 08:00 to 17:00, but evening, night, weekend and public-holiday services may also be required. Planned work is requested at least 72 hours in advance; in an emergency, the equipment must be delivered to the site within 8 hours of the written request. Crane services must include an operator and certified lifting accessories. Depending on the equipment type, lifting equipment may be rented with or without an operator. The contract will run for up to 3 years or until the applicable lot ceiling is reached: EUR 77,250 for Lot 1 and EUR 16,750 for Lot 2, excluding VAT. Price is the sole award criterion, using weighted unit prices for each lot. Bids must be submitted electronically by 18:00 on 2 November 2026 and remain valid for 90 days. Each bid must include the required declarations, proof of signatory authority and a unit-price schedule in PDF and Excel formats. The successful bidder must provide evidence relating to specified exclusion grounds within five days and, before services begin, submit the required workforce, equipment, safety and insurance documentation.
