Purchase of Two Light Goods Vehicles with Tipping Bodies

Summary

The Municipality of Almada is purchasing two light goods vehicles with tipping bodies. Each vehicle may have a gross weight of up to 3,500 kg and must have a fixed load body, rear-wheel drive and twin rear wheels. The requirements include a diesel engine meeting at least Euro VI, a displacement of at least 2,200 cm³, power of at least 130 hp and torque of at least 310 Nm, as well as a manual gearbox with at least six speeds and reverse. Both axles must have disc brakes, and the vehicles must have ABS and ESP. A double cab with seven seats is required. Other specified equipment includes a rear aluminium lift platform with a capacity of at least 750 kg, a metal load body with aluminium sides, a tow ball, spare wheel and tools, a fire extinguisher and a first-aid kit. The supplier must provide vehicle documentation and operating, maintenance, repair and spare-parts manuals in Portuguese, and train municipal staff in vehicle operation and maintenance. Delivery is due within three months of contract signature at the Vale Figueira depot in Sobreda. The maximum budget is EUR 110,000 excluding VAT, and price is the sole award criterion. Proposals must be in Portuguese; variants are not permitted, and proposals must remain valid for 120 days. The submission deadline is 7 October 2026 at 23:59. No tender guarantee is required.
