Repair and refurbishment of aviation fuel tanks at Beja Air Base No. 11

Summary

The tender covers the repair and internal refurbishment of JP8 aviation fuel tanks at Beja Air Base No. 11. The works include gas-freeing, cleaning and inspecting four 300 m³ tanks; repairing existing holes with welded patches; and structurally reinforcing tank No. 4. The 360 m² internal surface of tank No. 4 must receive a glass-fibre-reinforced resin lining and a final layer protecting it from petroleum products. The contractor must also install four new pressure and vacuum valves, remove and reinstall eight manway covers with replacement gaskets and fastening materials, and update the last-maintenance date markings on four tanks. The works must be completed within 60 days and no later than 18 December 2026. The maximum tender price is EUR 155,000 excluding VAT, and price is the sole award criterion. Tenders must be submitted electronically by 16 October 2026 at 23:00 and remain valid for 66 days. Variant tenders are not permitted. The successful tenderer must provide a 5% contract-performance guarantee and hold the required IMPIC public works contractor licence or certificate.
