Feed and forage for equids and dogs for 2027–2029

Summary

The tender covers the supply of animal feed and forage for the Portuguese Army for 2027–2029. It is divided into five lots: feed for equids (Lot 1, ceiling EUR 939,482), straw (Lot 2, EUR 316,559), hay (Lot 3, EUR 558,119), wood shavings for bedding (Lot 4, EUR 158,934) and dog food (Lot 5, EUR 62,301). The overall ceiling is EUR 2,035,395 excluding VAT. Quantities are annual estimates. Deliveries are to military units and run from 1 January 2027 until 31 December 2029 at the latest, or earlier if the contract ceiling is reached. Bidders must submit the required declaration and bid form, together with original manufacturer documents demonstrating compliance with the technical requirements. Supplies must meet the specifications in the tender documents and be delivered no later than 30 days after an order is received. Price is the only award criterion; if bids are tied, the shorter delivery period takes precedence. Bids must be submitted electronically by 29 October 2026 at 23:59. Variant and conditional bids are not allowed. In specified cases, the successful bidder must provide a performance guarantee equal to 5% of the contract price.
