Collection, transport and final treatment of sludge from Beira wastewater treatment plants

Summary

The procurement covers the collection, transport and delivery for appropriate final treatment of sludge from wastewater treatment plants in the Beira region. It is divided into two lots: Beira Baixa sludge services, with a base price of EUR 4,826,000, and Beira Alta sludge services, with a base price of EUR 2,735,000. The total base price is EUR 7,561,000, plus VAT where applicable. The Beira Alta lot also includes rental of containers of different sizes and types. Quantities are estimates and no minimum quantities are guaranteed. Each contract has an initial term of 12 months and may be renewed for equal periods up to a total of 36 months. The submission deadline is 2 November 2026 at 19:00. Price is the sole award criterion. Bidders may tender for one or both lots, but must price every listed item in each lot they bid for. The offer must include a service-organisation plan covering the work method, staff, equipment and drying-bed cleaning. The contractor must hold the required waste-management and road-transport licences; the service manager must have at least 3 years of documented relevant experience; and the team must include a safety technician and suitably certified drivers. The successful bidder must provide the required licence and qualification evidence and a 5% performance security.
