Supply and installation of a 4D CT scanner for radiotherapy

Summary

Braga Local Health Unit is procuring the supply and installation of one new 4D computed tomography scanner for radiotherapy planning. The system must support respiratory-motion imaging and integrate with the hospital’s existing radiotherapy, imaging and information systems. The supplier must take back and dismantle the existing BIG BORE–PHILIPS scanner and deliver the new system to Braga within 60 days of the purchase order. The maximum budget is EUR 1,443,000 excluding VAT. Bidders must provide technical data sheets and evidence, a fully completed Supply Matrix, unit and total prices and the VAT rate, a warranty offer of at least three years, proof of the mandatory site visit and availability to demonstrate compatibility with existing equipment. Proposals must be submitted electronically in Portuguese or with a legalised translation; technical documents may also be in English or Spanish. Variant proposals are not allowed. The submission deadline is 1 November 2026 at 18:00. The award gives 30% weight to price, 60% to technical merit and 10% to warranty; a 5% tender guarantee is also required.
