Supply of special gases for teaching, research and development

Summary

The procurement covers special gases in cylinders and liquid nitrogen for teaching, research and development at the Faculty of Engineering of the University of Porto. The gases include acetylene, synthetic air, argon, nitrogen, carbon dioxide, helium, hydrogen, methane, nitrous oxide and oxygen, as well as several gas mixtures. The supplier must provide gases with the required purity and cylinder types in response to orders; maximum delivery times vary by product from 4 to 60 working days. Deliveries are mainly to the Faculty of Engineering in Porto. The contract runs for one year and may be renewed up to twice. The contract notice states a base value of EUR 122,679.26, while the tender programme gives EUR 122,717.28; both amounts exclude VAT. Price is the sole award criterion. The offer must include technical descriptions of the gases, unit prices, delivery times and the required declarations. It must be submitted electronically in Portuguese and digitally signed.
