Procurement of Waste Containers and Locks

Summary

The tender covers the supply of containers, household food-waste caddies, screening enclosures for food-waste containers and locks to expand the municipality of Calheta’s separate waste-collection network. The quantities are 2,440 seven-litre kitchen caddies for food waste; 50 screening systems; 240-litre containers comprising 50 for food waste, 15 for paper and cardboard, 15 for plastics and metals, 15 for glass, 20 for oil and 20 for mixed waste; and 800-litre containers comprising 55 for paper and cardboard, 55 for plastics and metals, 55 for glass and 70 for mixed waste. The equipment must form a compatible, functional system, and containers must be fitted with wind-resistant closure systems. The containers must meet the technical specifications, including EN 840 and RAL GZ 951, as well as ISO 22196:2011 for antibacterial activity on plastic surfaces. Bids must include complete technical data sheets and supporting evidence of compliance. The base price is €173,929.30 excluding VAT, and price is the sole award criterion. Bids must be submitted in Portuguese through the ACINGOV electronic platform by 29 October 2026 at 23:59 and remain valid for 66 days. Delivery is due within 150 days of contract signature or notification of the award, and transport costs are borne by the supplier.
