Technical and logistical support services for AMEC performances and concerts
Summary
The tender is for technical and logistical support for performances, concerts and other events promoted by Associação Música, Educação e Cultura – O Sentido dos Sons (AMEC/Metropolitana) in mainland Portugal. The work includes loading, unloading and transporting instruments, orchestra equipment, stage platforms, and lighting and sound equipment; installing, dismantling and adjusting conventional lighting projectors; and placing orchestra furniture on stage. The contract also includes the rental of a goods-transport vehicle with a driver. The contract lasts 12 months and may be renewed up to twice, for a maximum total term of 36 months. The base price is EUR 54,100 for 12 months and EUR 162,300 for the maximum term. Bidders should allow for 2,000 staff hours per year and an estimated 530 vehicle hours per year within 100 km of the contracting authority’s premises: 180 hours for vehicles up to 20 m³, 200 hours for a 35 m³ vehicle, and 150 hours for vehicles over 35 m³. The base hourly rates are EUR 13 for personnel, EUR 45 for vehicles up to 20 m³, EUR 55 for a 35 m³ vehicle and EUR 60 for vehicles over 35 m³. For journeys beyond 100 km, the unit prices in the accepted bid apply. The bid must include a price offer and price schedule, a declaration accepting the tender documents, the proposed number of staff by task and the named supervisor, CVs and employer statements proving experience, and a technical description of the proposed vehicle. The supervisor must have at least 5 years’ experience managing technical and logistical support teams in classical music; technicians must have at least 1 year of experience in performances and events, preferably in classical music. The vehicle must have a rigid body and tail lift and be no more than 10 years old from its first registration. The driver’s cost must be included in the vehicle price. Evaluation assigns 40% to the team’s functional suitability and 60% to the bid price; suitability points are split equally between the supervisor’s and technicians’ experience. The submission deadline is 14 October 2026 at 23:59, and bids must remain valid for 90 days. Variant bids are not allowed, and no bid security is required.
