Outsourced printing services

Summary

The Municipality of Seixal is procuring outsourced printing services in two lots. Lot 1 covers the installation of new printing and multifunction devices and the implementation of a centralised print-management solution. Lot 2 covers printing services for the municipality's existing equipment, including maintenance and technical support, as well as maintenance and software support for a large-format scanner. The work includes operating and monitoring the equipment, maintenance, technical assistance and the provision of the agreed consumables and spare parts. Bidders may submit an offer for either or both lots. The total contract ceiling is EUR 432,000 excluding VAT: EUR 369,000 for Lot 1 and EUR 63,000 for Lot 2. Lot 1 requires a solution based on new equipment and central management; its guaranteed monthly volumes are 260,000 black-and-white pages, 36,000 colour pages and 430 linear metres of large-format printing. The cap for the variable charge for printing above the guaranteed volume is EUR 60,000. Lot 2 covers existing equipment; the reference volumes for the contract period are 2,160,000 black-and-white pages, 360,000 colour pages and 45,000 linear metres, but they do not oblige the municipality to purchase those quantities. Price is the sole award criterion for both lots. The contract may last up to 1,185 days: up to 90 days for implementation and 1,095 days, or 36 months, of service from acceptance of the relevant lot. The submission deadline was 28 October 2026 at 23:59, and offers must remain valid for 66 days. The successful bidder must provide a guarantee equal to 5% of the contract price.
