Supply of 1,100-litre waste containers

Summary

The Municipality of Silves is procuring 1,300 waste containers, each with a capacity of 1,100 litres. The containers must be black, made of high-density polyethylene, have a flat lid and pedal, and carry screen-printed markings on both the body and lid. They must be certified to EN 840-1, 2, 5 and 6, must not absorb liquids, must be fully corrosion-resistant and UV-protected throughout the material, and must have a lifting system compatible with DIN, Oschner and front-loading systems. The 200 mm wheels must have galvanised steel rims, rotate 360 degrees and include individual brakes on the two front wheels. The containers must be delivered and assembled in the municipality of Silves within 150 days. Delivery is phased: 250 containers by each of contract days 30, 60, 90 and 120, followed by the remaining 300 by day 150. The supplier bears the delivery transport costs. The maximum budget is EUR 242,000 excluding VAT; the contract is awarded to the lowest total-price offer. If offers are tied, the shorter delivery period takes precedence. Bids must be submitted electronically through the ACIN platform by 17:00 on 28 October 2026 and remain valid for 66 days. The bid must include the European Single Procurement Document, a data-processing consent declaration, unit prices, the total price, the applicable VAT rate and the delivery period. Companies must also provide evidence of commercial-register registration. Documents must be in Portuguese or accompanied by a legalised translation. The bid must be signed with a qualified electronic signature by an authorised signatory; variant bids are not permitted. No bid security is required.
