Specialist design services for linking the Ave riverside promenades to the Santo Thyrso Factory (Malhado)

Summary

The Municipality of Santo Tirso is procuring design services for a connection between the riverside promenades along the Ave and the Santo Thyrso Factory (Malhado). The work principally includes landscape architecture, road-network, structural and slope-stabilisation, water-supply, wastewater and stormwater, public-lighting and electrical-infrastructure, telecommunications-infrastructure, irrigation, and traffic and wayfinding-signage designs. The contractor must also prepare at least five 3D visualisations, a health and safety plan, a construction and demolition waste plan, measurements, a bill of quantities and cost estimate, technical tender specifications, and a management and maintenance plan. Other related studies, tests and permits may also be required. The work is divided into stages: a preliminary design within 60 consecutive days, a base design within 30 days after approval of the preliminary design, and an execution design within 90 days after approval of the preceding stage. Technical assistance is required during preparation of the construction tender and throughout construction until provisional acceptance. The design stages have a total stated duration of 180 days. The estimated maximum price is EUR 110,000 excluding VAT, and price is the sole award criterion. Bids were due electronically by 17:30 on 14 October 2026 and must remain valid for 120 days.
