Design documentation for the reconstruction of Kadzielnia Amphitheatre

Summary

The tender covers design and cost-estimate documentation for the reconstruction of the Kadzielnia Amphitheatre under a project to enhance its tourism potential. The work has three stages: prepare a multidisciplinary concept and survey the existing facility; assess the roof and its control system; carry out building, fire-safety and geotechnical studies; and estimate the investment cost. Next, prepare the building and execution design, obtain the necessary consultations and administrative decisions, and prepare an environmental impact assessment or secure a decision that one is not required. Finally, prepare the bill of quantities, the investor’s cost estimate and technical specifications, and submit the application for a building permit. The third stage ends when the permit is issued. The work must be completed within 32 weeks of contract signature, while the amphitheatre remains in operation. Bidders must carry out a mandatory site visit before submitting an offer. A bid security of PLN 4,000 is required; the successful bidder must provide performance security equal to 5% of the total tender price before signing the contract. Offers are evaluated on price (60 points) and the relevant experience of the architectural designer (40 points). Qualification requires evidence of at least two multidisciplinary design and cost-estimate documentation assignments for public-use facilities of at least 3,000 m³ during the past 10 years, as well as a team of designers holding the required authorisations and at least 5 years’ experience. Only one offer may be submitted, and partial offers are not permitted.
