Stray animal capture, transport and shelter care services in Wartkowice municipality

Summary

The contract covers capturing stray animals in the municipality of Wartkowice, transporting them safely to a shelter, and providing shelter space and care. The services include suitable housing, food and water, veterinary care, required vaccinations and other treatments, sterilisation or castration, microchipping and animal records. The contractor must seek new homes where appropriate and arrange adoptions after quarantine and sterilisation or castration. Shelter must also be provided for the 38 animals currently housed there: 36 dogs and 2 cats. The estimated average number of animals is 40 per month from 1 December 2026 to 31 May 2028. Services are to run for 18 months from 1 December 2026, or until the maximum gross contract remuneration is used up, whichever occurs first. The bidder must hold the required permits, have at least two qualifying previous contracts and possess the specified animal-capture and transport equipment. Staff responsible for animal intake, records, adoption agreements and round-the-clock supervision must be employed under employment contracts throughout the contract. The bid must include the required declarations and a PLN 4,000 tender guarantee. Evaluation is based on gross price (60%) and Saturday access to the shelter for prospective adopters (40%).
