Renovation and modernisation works at the Bytnica Forest District office building

Summary

The contract covers construction, renovation, finishing, sanitary and electrical works in the Bytnica Forest District administrative building and garage at Bytnica 160. The work includes, among other things, replacing lighting and windows, renovating room floors, walls and ceilings, and carrying out central-heating, water and electrical installation works. The technical design, specifications and bill of quantities define the detailed scope. One contractor will carry out the contract in two stages: Stage I is due within 50 days and the entire works within 212 days of contract signature. The office will remain operational, and the works must not disrupt its functioning. The bidder must allow for moving and protecting furniture and equipment, keeping the site tidy, disposing of waste lawfully, and supplying its own construction materials. Evidence for materials and equipment must be submitted for approval at least one week before use; the contracting authority must be notified at least two days in advance of any temporary interruption to electricity, water or other utilities. The bidder must have at least PLN 250,000 in funds or equivalent credit capacity and must have completed, under a single contract during the previous five years, building renovation, conservation, construction, extension or reconstruction works worth at least PLN 1,000,000 gross, including installation of fittings. Works managers are required for structural and building works, electrical and power installations, and heating, ventilation, gas, water supply and sewerage installations; roles may be combined where the person has the required qualifications. The bid must include a priced simplified bill of quantities and the required declarations. A PLN 15,000 bid security is required. The successful bidder must provide performance security equal to 5% of the total bid price and the required insurance policy. The minimum warranty and defect-liability period is 60 months; offering an additional 12 months earns points under the warranty-period criterion. Bids are evaluated on price (60%) and the warranty and defect-liability period (40%).
