Modernisation of the sanitary and staff facilities in Stairwell B of the Małopolska Voivodeship Office building in Kraków

Summary

The contract covers renovation of five toilets in Stairwell B of the Małopolska Voivodeship Office building at Basztowa 22, Kraków: room 7 on the ground floor, rooms 210 and 211 on the second floor, and rooms 312 and 313 on the third floor. The works include demolition and general construction, new partition walls and floor layers, plastering and suspended ceilings, water and sewerage, electrical and lighting installations, ceramic tiling, painting, WC cubicles, sanitary fixtures and fittings, mirrors, radiators, worktops, and wooden doors and frames. The work must follow the design and technical specification and be completed within 45 days of signing the contract. The building will remain in use, so the work must be phased and coordinated with the contracting authority to minimise disruption to normal operations. The bidder must provide a construction manager with the required qualifications and heritage-site experience, demonstrate at least one qualifying previous construction contract, and hold civil liability insurance with a guaranteed sum of at least PLN 1,000,000. Physical workers directly involved in the construction work must be employed under employment contracts for the duration of the work, except for people performing independent technical functions and suppliers of materials. The bid must be submitted electronically with the bid form and a preliminary declaration confirming that no exclusion grounds apply and the participation conditions are met; the more detailed evidence will be requested from the highest-ranked bidder. Bids will be evaluated on price (60%) and warranty duration (40%); the offered warranty must be at least 36 and no more than 60 months. No bid guarantee is required, but the successful bidder must provide performance security equal to 5% of the total bid price. The gross funding allocated to the contract is PLN 551,404.66.
