Organisation and delivery of dog- and hippotherapy sessions for children and adolescents up to 18 years of age participating in the PoMOCNY Tarnów project

The tender concerns the organisation and delivery of individual dog- and hippotherapy sessions for children and adolescents up to 18 years of age in the city of Tarnow under the PoMOCNY Tarnów project. It is divided into two parts: dog therapy and hippotherapy. Each part covers 45 participants, with 5 sessions per participant, or 225 sessions in total. Each dog therapy session must last at least 30 minutes; each hippotherapy session must last at least 45 minutes, including at least 30 minutes of actual hippotherapy and the remaining time for preparing the participant and animal. The bidder must provide a suitable accessible venue, the necessary equipment and a properly trained therapeutic animal. For dog therapy, the venue must be in Tarnow, have a minimum area of 25 m², daylight, accessibility for persons with disabilities and an accessible toilet. For hippotherapy, the facility must include sanitary facilities, be accessible and have daylight, with an outdoor riding area of at least 2,500 m² or an indoor arena of at least 500 m². Sessions are individual and take place daily between 08:00 and 20:00. The bidder must provide details of a suitably qualified and experienced specialist, the animals, the offer form and the required declarations. The eligibility of personnel to work with children must be evidenced by checks in the sexual-offender register and criminal-record certificates.
