Delivery of components for the treatment of saline water: Part 3 – hydrochloric acid

Summary

The tender concerns the sale and delivery of up to 110 tonnes of first-grade hydrochloric acid (HCl) suitable for the food industry, for the treatment of saline water. The guaranteed quantity is 66 tonnes and a further 44 tonnes may be ordered as an option. Deliveries will be made in up to eight batches over 12 months; each batch must weigh 12–18 tonnes and be delivered within 14 working days of the buyer’s order, no more than once a month. The acid must have a shelf life of at least six months at delivery and meet all specified quality parameters. The supplier must arrange transport and unloading, use approved tanker vehicles and qualified personnel, provide the required product and transport documents, and submit product evidence with the tender. Price is the only award criterion. Tenders must be submitted electronically by 27 August 2026 at 10:00, and the tender remains binding until 25 September 2026.
