Summary

Purchase of practice-oriented action research on facility models as new organizational models in nursing homes. The aim is to conduct a practice-based study to document the effects of the models, evaluate the different implementation processes, and interpret findings in the context of other register data on nursing homes. The research will be conducted in equal collaboration between the research community, central administration, and the nursing homes, with emphasis on evidence-based practice, learning, and applicability of the service. Three different facility models have been implemented to date at Tåsenhjemmet, Langerudhjemmet, and Majorstuhjemmet; the inclusion of other long-term care homes has not been decided. The contract duration is two years, with an estimated total value of NOK 4,000,000 excluding VAT.
