Architectural commission for Vijverhof Oost in Leiden

Summary

Leiden University is procuring architectural and building design services for the joint accommodation of the LION and IBL institutes at Vijverhof Oost in Leiden. The project covers approximately 24,000 m² of gross floor area and includes interior and landscape design and coordination of the design team. The design is to consider reuse and transformation of the existing LMUY building alongside additional new construction as needed. This procurement covers the architectural commission; the related installation, structural, building-physics, acoustics, fire-safety and laboratory consultancy commissions are procured separately.
