Indoor waste collection for Merwede and Wonderwoods

Summary

The Municipality of Utrecht is procuring indoor collection of residual waste, separately collected paper and cardboard, and food and garden waste from buildings in the Merwede urban district and the Wonderwoods complex. The service includes providing and installing suitable collection containers, emptying and maintaining them, handling faults and incidents, and transporting the collected waste to designated processors. The service is intended for approximately 4,237 homes in Merwede’s first development phase and 419 homes in Wonderwoods; the contract covers one integrated service, with no lots, for an initial two years and two possible two-year extensions.
