Debt assistance services

Summary

The Municipality of Velsen is procuring integrated debt-assistance services for residents, including self-employed individuals personally liable for their debts, and financial support for status holders. The services cover debt-assistance modules such as intake, stabilisation, debt settlement and restructuring loans, budget management and coaching, crisis intervention, legal-proceedings support and aftercare. For status holders, the contract also covers management of five fixed expenses and individual budget coaching; the procurement is not divided into lots. The initial contract period is three years from 1 June 2027, with options to extend it by one year and then twice by two years, up to a maximum of eight years.
