Construction of the Naktuinbouw laboratory building

Summary

The procurement covers construction of a new laboratory building for Naktuinbouw in Roelofarendsveen, with approximately 2,300 m² of gross floor area, as an extension behind the existing premises at Sotaweg 22. The laboratories will analyse and assess the identity, health and quality of seeds and plant propagation material. The procurement is divided into two lots: building construction works and building services installations. The construction contractor will also coordinate the works during execution. A provisional sum must be allowed for supplying and connecting laboratory furniture; a bid for a three-year maintenance contract will also be requested at the next stage. The procedure has two stages. Applicants are first assessed for exclusion grounds and suitability; if necessary, up to five are selected for the next stage. Those invited then compete by submitting tenders. Price carries more weight than quality, and the notice’s stated 60% price and 40% quality weighting is indicative and may change. Applications must be submitted electronically by 12:00 on 13 November 2026. Applicants should meet the financial capacity, insurance, relevant laboratory-building reference and business-register requirements.
