Property insurance for the Municipality of Deventer

Summary

The Municipality of Deventer is procuring comprehensive property insurance for municipal buildings, business equipment and inventory, business interruption and special expenses, including eligible affiliated entities, primary and secondary education, secondary education and Sportbedrijf Deventer. The total insured amount is EUR 1,143,009,964, with an excess of EUR 2,500 per event and a 156-week indemnity period for business interruption, special and reconstruction costs. The contract is planned to start on 1 January 2027 at 12:00 for an initial three-year period. It may be extended by mutual agreement in successive 12-month periods up to a total duration of nine years. The tender must be submitted in Dutch through the electronic submission system by 22 October 2026 at 12:00. Price is the only award criterion; the lowest total annual premium for achieving 100% coverage will be selected. Potential bidders should be licensed insurers or authorised agents, either bidding independently, with subcontractors or third-party capacity, or as a consortium.
