Design and author supervision for learning-environment upgrades at schools in Ventspils

Summary

The procurement covers the preparation of three sets of construction-intent documentation and author supervision at Ventspils 4th Secondary School and Ventspils State First Gymnasium. The design work includes upgrading classrooms, laboratories, toilets, corridors, the sports hall and the main staircase at the secondary school, as well as acoustic and building-services solutions for teaching rooms at both schools. The contractor must also prepare construction cost calculations and technical descriptions of materials. The provider must prepare and coordinate the documentation, submit it to the construction information system, and provide author supervision during construction. The design period is four calendar months from contract signing, excluding the time required for approval by the building authority. Construction is planned to last five calendar months during the author-supervision period. The designs must comply with applicable building requirements and take accessibility and universal-design principles into account. The bidder must hold the required registration, demonstrate at least one completed relevant public- or apartment-building design project, and provide certified specialists in five disciplines. The tender must be submitted electronically in Latvian. Offers are evaluated on price (85 points) and the relevant experience of the building-structure designer (15 points).
