Health insurance services

Summary

The tender concerns health insurance services for 100 employees of the contracting authority. The insurance period is 1 November 2026 to 31 October 2027, and the service must be available throughout Latvia. The premium may not exceed EUR 750 excluding VAT per employee. The successful insurer must also pay the authorised broker’s fee of EUR 500 for the full contract period. The offer must include a comprehensive technical and financial proposal covering the required outpatient and inpatient care, diagnostics, emergency care, rehabilitation, dental care, medicines and additional health-promotion options. The minimum insurance sum is EUR 6,500 per insured person. Offers are evaluated using 100 points: insurance coverage 52, service-group limits and discounts 35, policy functionality 8, and the price of additional programmes 5. The bidder must submit the required application, independent-tender declaration, technical and financial offers, experience information and, where relevant, subcontractor or supporting-entity documents. The bidder must have the necessary registration and a licence to provide health insurance services in Latvia, as well as at least two comparable contracts for different clients involving uninterrupted 12-month coverage for at least 100 insured persons.
