Voluntary vehicle insurance and compulsory motor third-party liability insurance

Summary

The tender concerns voluntary vehicle insurance and compulsory motor third-party liability insurance for the contracting authority’s land vehicles. It is divided into two lots: compulsory liability insurance and voluntary KASKO insurance together with all-risks insurance for special machinery. A bidder may tender for one or both lots, but must cover the full scope of each selected lot. The contract is planned for 12 months, from 1 January to 31 December 2027, with an option to extend it for another 12 months. Offers must be submitted electronically by 6 October 2026. The award criterion in each lot is the lowest price, subject to compliance with the technical requirements. The contracting authority does not guarantee any specific insurance volume. The bidder must provide the required insurance services in Latvia, hold the relevant licences, and submit the participation application, qualification evidence, technical offer and financial offer. The technical offer must describe the insurance process, policy issuance, claims reporting and applicable insurance terms. The financial offer must state the total price excluding VAT and include all costs related to contract performance.
